The Apple Watch 5 has officially been unveiled. During Tuesday’s event at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. The new smartwatch was announced on September 10 but will officially go on sale in just over a week on Friday, September 20.

The watch comes in aluminum and stainless models. Aluminum models will come in silver, gold and space grey and will be made from 100 percent recycled aluminum. The stainless models will come in Gold and Space Black, brushed Titanium and Ceramic, according to the Apple announcement.
The Apple Watch 5 will feature a battery life of 18-hours and an always-on display. The Apple Watch 5 display will dim when the watch is not in use, but you will still be able to see the display’s notifications and more. The watch also comes with some new built-in health and safety features like emergency SOS, international emergency calling, fell detection, and medical ID.
Later in today’s Apple Event, the company will also be unveiling the iPhone 11, new MacBook, new iPad, and potentially the new iOS system.
Previously rumors have indicated the new iPhone 11 models could hit the shelves on September 20, though that has yet to be confirmed. Models are expected to include the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11R, and iPhone 11 MAX. Apple could also finally be bringing bilateral charging with the iPhone 11. According to 9to5Mac, users may be able to share iPhone battery with other iPhones and AirPods with its wireless charging case.
