UFC Hall of Famer BJ Penn is back in the headlines. In a video obtained by TMZ Sports, the former lightweight champion can be seen getting involved in a street fight outside of a bar in Hawaii. Penn can be seen raining down punches on to the back of the head of another man in one of the videos.
However, things take a terrible turn for Penn in another clip which shows the mixed martial artist getting brutally knocked out in the middle of the street after egging a man on.
Penn was slapped with a right hand before taking a left hook clean to the chin.
After he crumbled to the concrete, Penn’s fans helped him back to his feet before two groups exchanged words.

TMZ Sports adds:
Penn was at the Lava Shack on the Big Island on Tuesday when he got into it with another dude — and in classic Penn fashion, the fight ended up on the ground. We have a pic of Penn at the bar earlier in the night. You can see the clothing is the same.
Here is another video that shows when Penn was in a more dominant position before getting knocked out.
Penn had previously been involved in a street fight outside of a strip club in Oahu, Hawaii back in June 2018. In October 2018, Penn’s former partner filed a restraining order alleging years of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. Penn continues to be involved in a custody battle in that matter.
There is also an active investigation involving Penn involving an alleged altercation where he threatened a farmer with a machete.
The UFC has yet to respond to Penn’s latest incident outside of the cage. The 40-year-old is expected to have his farewell UFC fight against Nik Lentz later this year, but no date has been confirmed and there is no word on whether this latest incident will impact the scheduling.
