Mike Leach is one of the most entertaining characters in college football, so the fact that the Washington State football coach is making some headlines for his antics ahead of the 2019 season comes as no surprise. Leach was enjoying a pool day with his team when he went into full old man mode and proved he is already in midseason form.
The 58-year-old coach was in the pool when he decided to join in on a belly flop competition with an epic entry that had his team fired up.
Well done, coach.
And that was just some of the action that the diving board got throughout the day, as you can see from some of the highlights posted to the Washington State football program’s official Twitter account.
We will have to see how this helps the Cougs when they take the field in the coming weeks.
