Mariel Swan is one of the stars of the upcoming reality show Racing Wives which premieres on CMT on Friday, August 3. The show is a housewives-style reality series that follows women who are involved in the world of NASCAR.
Mariel is a former professional cheerleader for the NFL’s Tennessee Titans and is currently married to Paul Swan, a tire carrier for the No. 3 Chevrolet team. She is also a former Monster Energy Girl and co-owner of the Shop The WM jewelry company.
In an interview with USA Today’s For The Win, Mariel opened up about what she hopes people can learn from the show.
“There are so many different components to NASCAR and to a team, so it’s going to be really cool for the fans and viewers to see all of the moving pieces that go into having a team,” she said. “I get really hyped up and stressed about watching just because Austin and Paul are like brothers, and I look at Austin as my brother and Whitney as my sister. We’re all a family, so when Paul is pitting for Austin, I know that he wants to give it his all.”
