We are still months away from the 2019-20 NBA regular season, but the oddsmakers are looking forward to what we could see on the court after an exciting run through summer league and a wild free agency period.
With the landscape of the league rapidly changing, we could see some new contenders emerging while other teams we are used to seeing at the top of the league could be taking a step back.
Ahead of the start of the season, the oddsmakers have looked through the offseason moves and have set their expectations for what could play out throughout the year.
This week, the oddsmakers released the over/under for all 30 franchises’ win totals.
The Milwaukee Bucks will enter the season with the highest expectations with a win total set at 58.5. Other teams to have their totals set at 50+ wins are the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, and Denver Nuggets. At the opposite end of the spectrum, the New York Knicks saw their win total set at 28.5 games while the Phoenix Suns sit at 29.5. It could be worse, however, with the Memphis Grizzlies sitting at 26.5 and the Washington Wizards at 27.5.
