The Ultimate Fighting Championship made the trip to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada this week to cap off a busy month of July with UFC 240 live on pay-per-view. The event — which will be held at the Rogers Arena — will take place on Saturday, July 27.
In the main event of the night, featherweight champion Max Holloway returns to his home at 145-pounds after coming up short in a lightweight title fight to defend his title against former 155-pound titleholder Frankie Edgar.
In the co-main event, former women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg returns to the cage after suffering the first loss of her UFC career to take on Felicia Spencer.
Other bouts on the main card include Geoff Neal vs. Niko Price, Olivier Aubin-Mercia vs. Arman Tsarukyan, and Marc-Andre Barriault vs. Krzysztof Jotko. The preliminary card is headlined by a women’s flyweight bout between Viviane Araujo and Alexis Davis.
Early Friday, July 26, the fighters stepped onto the scale for the official weigh-ins and successfully hit their marks. However, there was still one final time for fans to see Saturday night’s competitors come face-to-face before they enter the cage in just over 24 hours thanks to the ceremonial weigh-ins which will be held at the same venue hosting tomorrow night’s event.
You can check out the ceremonial weigh-ins live below beginning at 6:00 p.m. ET.
