Rapper Young Dro was reportedly arrested in Georgia for using banana pudding as a weapon. According to a report from TMZ, Dro was in a heated argument with his girlfriend when he decided to throw a plate of the pudding at her.
As a result of the pudding tossing incident, Young Dro is facing two counts of misdemeanor battery/family violence.
Don’t use your pudding as a weapon, folks.
From the report:
We’re told the two had been arguing over money — but things got heated and the food started flying … with both sides launching whatever delicious items they could find at each other. Cops were called to the scene — and despite the fact his GF made it clear she didn’t want to press charges, they arrested Dro anyway.
Things get worse for Young Dro, too, because his legal issues haven’t stopped there.
He’s still in jail too — according to law enforcement sources — because he’s also being held on a child support contempt order. The legal docs say he owes almost $41k in back child support, and needs to pay $10k to be released from custody.
That was clearly one costly food fight.
Young Dro nor his representatives have yet to formally comment on the alleged incident.
The Atlanta-based rapper was previously arrested in August 2016 at Georgia Southern University for drug and gun possession.
Young Dro is best known for his singles “Shoulder Lean” and “FDB” after being signed to Grand Hustle, a record label ran by another Atlanta rapper T.I. Young Dro was also a member of the inaugural XXL Top 10 Freshman list with the likes of Lupe Fiasco, Lil Boosie, Joell Ortiz, Plies, Saigon, Rich Boy, Gorilla Zoe, Papoose and Crooked I.
