If you are in the Toronto, Canada area in early August, you will have an opportunity to see Drake in action as OVO Fest returns to the Budweiser Amphitheater. Drake had previously announced the festival would be returning and now we know the acts.
In an Instagram post, Drake revealed that the likes of B2K, Mario, Lloyd, Pretty Ricky, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy and Bobby V would be taking the stage on August 4. The following day, Drake will take the stage with some special guests that have yet to be announced.
Drake had previously revealed during the Toronto Raptors’ NBA Championship parade that he would be bringing OVO Fest back this summer.
“I hope that all these guys will join me this year because we’re bringing OVO Fest back, so I hope we can go crazy,” Drake told the crowd in attendance before kindly reminding them who he is. “I go by the name of Drake. I love each and every one of y’all. I hope you enjoy this moment.
“I hope all these guys will join me this year ’cause we bringing OVO Fest back so I hope we can go crazy!”
We will have to see if any members of the Raptors championship-winning squad decide to show up to join Drake with the festivities.
In addition to the OVO Summit will take place on August 1 through August 2 and OVO Bounce will be held from July 29 through August 2. Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday, July 12 through Live Nation.
