The United States women’s national team won its historic fourth FIFA Women’s World Cup title on Sunday, July 7. Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe and company faced plenty of adversity during the knockout stages of the tournament but were ultimately able to come out on top with a 2-0 win over the Netherlands in the final.

Following the game, it was time for an epic celebration.

Morgan and company were popping bottles in the locker room at Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Décines-Charpieu, France when Morgan decided to bust out her dance moves.

The celebratory dance quickly went viral on social media with Morgan donning a special “Champions ’19” jersey and smile of a champion.

Morgan’s celebration was shared on social media by USWNT goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris.

And Morgan wasn’t the only member of the United States women’s team to turn up during the locker room celebration, as you can see in an extended clip from Harris’ Instagram Story.

Morgan also took to social media following the win to share a message with her fans and a picture with the World Cup Trophy.

“Verified I think I’m in love,” Morgan wrote. “WORLD CHAMPS BABY! GOT THAT 4TH STAR!”

Congratulations to the United States women’s national championship on their fourth World Cup championship. You know they will be in for another epic celebration when they return home to the states from France. And as Alex Morgan and company showed us in the locker room, the party is just getting started.

Now that the women have brought home a title, it is time for the US men’s national team to keep the momentum going when they take on rival Mexico in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final live in primetime at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois.
