Arianny Celeste is undoubtedly the most visible and recognizable ring girl in mixed martial arts. Celeste made her UFC debut in 2006 during an event taking place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Arianny is also a successful model, appearing in Playboy, Maxim, FHM, and Sports Illustrated. Her nude photoshoot for the November 2010 issue of Playboy was one of the top-selling issues of the year.
Arianny, whose birth name is Penelope Lopez Marquez, was born on November 12, 1985, in Las Vegas. Arianny is of Filipino and Mexican descent. She goes by Arianny after being given the nickname as a child.
Prior to her breakout gig with the UFC, Arianny attended college at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she majored in fitness management and nutrition.
Along with serving as a UFC ring girl, Arianny was also the host of a UFC web show titled UFC Ultimate Insider while also co-hosting the television series Overhaulin. Arianny has been featured in multiple UFC video games including UFC Undisputed 2010, UFC Undisputed 3, EA Sports UFC and EA Sports UFC 2.
