Brooks Nader was a part of the first-ever, in-person #SISwimSearch open casting call in Miami a year ago and reached the final six which landed her a photoshoot and spread in the 2019 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Now that voting for the next big SI Swimsuit star is over, Nader has been named the winner.
As a result, she will return to the magazine’s annual swimsuit issue as a member of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2020 rookie class.
Nader, who attended the University of Tulane and was studying for a degree in finance before taking up modeling full-time, follows in the footsteps of fellow SI Swim Search winners Camille Kostek, Haley Kalil, Anne de Paula, and Mia Kang.
The 23-year-old hails from Baton Rouge but is currently based out of New York City after signing with a modeling agency.
“I miss the [Louisiana] food. People try to copy the food [in New York],” she told 225batonrouge.com. “I miss the fresh air a lot, too … Now Baton Rouge is like a vacation.”
