Rapper Slim 400 was rushed to the Los Angeles Hospital late Friday, June 28 after being the victim of a shooting in his hometown of Compton, California. According to a TMZ report, the YG affiliate suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Slim is currently in critical, but stable condition.
Few details about the shooting are available at this time, but reports claim Slim 400 “was shot up to 10 times.”
The report adds:
Our sources say what led up to the shooting is currently unclear … though a black vehicle suspected to be involved in the incident was seen leaving the scene.

Earlier this year, Slim dropped his solo project High Off TTreez which included features from the likes of Lil Yachty, Twist, Budda Ru, Bloody Jay, and more. In June, he dropped a collaboration with Yowda titled State Line.
The shooting of Slim 400 comes three months since the murder of Nipsey Hussle in Compton, California outside of his Marathon Clothing Store. Nipsey Hussle’s murder was in broad daylight and sent shockwaves through the hip hop and Los Angeles communities.
