Kina Tavary, a 30-year-old Instagram model who goes by Kina Tavarozi, has found herself in trouble with the law, according to a report from the New York Post. Court documents showed that Kina appeared in court earlier this month after she was busted for beating up the father of her child.
The incident reportedly occurred on June 14 and she was arrested shortly after 2:00 a.m.
As a result of the altercation with her baby daddy Freddy Figueroa, who DJs under the name Freddy Figs, Kina is facing misdemeanor assault charges. Figueroa was left with “bruising, swelling, bleeding and substantial pain.”
Kina is due back in court later this month, but her attorney does not seem to believe the case will go far.
“The allegations don’t even make out an assault. I expect that this case is not going to go very far,” said lawyer Earl Ward. “Justice is always slow but in the end I think this case is going to be dismissed.”
