Dana White’s Contender Series returns on Tuesday, June 18 with four fights featuring some of the top up-and-coming talent in mixed martial arts. In the main event, undefeated Hawaiian Punahele Soriano takes on Jamie Pickett in a middleweight bout. The card will also feature strawweights, featherweights, and heavyweights.

Unfortunately, for the first time in the series’ history, a bout was scrapped. Leon Shahbazyan was scheduled to face Brok Weaver, but was ruled medically ineligible to continue his weight cut.

Dana White’s Contender Series 17 takes place at the promotion’s brand new UFC Apex facility. Previously, the series was held at The Ultimate Fighter Gym.
