UFC 238 took place on Saturday, June 7 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The event featured to incredible finishes in championship bouts to cap off the pay-per-view card. In the main event, Henry Cejudo stopped Marlon Moraes to become a two-division champion while Valentina Shevchenko defended her title with a brutal headkick knockout of Jessica Eye.
The main card also featured a bout between top lightweight contenders Tony Ferguson and Donald Cerrone.
It was Shevchenko’s knockout of Eye, however, that really stole the show.
On Wednesday, June 12, the UFC dropped a sneak peek for its “UFC 238: The Thrill and the Agony” series that gives a behind-the-scenes look of fight night. In the video, we see the reactions of commentators Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier when Shevchenko flattened Eye and they could barely stand watching.
