The United States women’s national team put on a show in their 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup opener. As the USWNT began their world championship defense with a match against Thailand, they delivered a 13-0 shellacking in a record-setting win.

A total of seven players scored for the USWNT, with Alex Morgan racking up five individual goals which tied Michelle Akers’ single-game FIFA Women’s World Cup record.

The 13 goals is the most ever scored in a FIFA Women’s World Cup game.

While some may find the 13-0 obliteration poor sportsmanship, it is crucial to score every goal you can in the Group Stage of the tournament with goal differential serving as the primary tiebreaker when it comes to advancing to the knockout round.

You can check out all 13 goals from the blowout of Thailand below.
