E3 2019 is finally upon us. After months of waiting, leaking info, and est, We finally get a first look at all the big trailers, games and announcement of the games we’ll be playing from here to the future. While E3 is still going, we’ll be taking a look at some of the biggest trailers and reveals at one of the most significant entertainment events of the year. Will your favorite be on the list? There’s only one way to find out. With that said, let’s get started.

1. Cyberpunk 2077

Perhaps the biggest surprise at Microsoft’s E3 press conference was the latest trailer from Cyberpunk 2077. While no new gameplay was shown off, we did learn a few things from the trailer. We got to see more of the fantastic world that CD Project Red is creating, as well as some of its main characters, but we also got the official release date. We’ll be getting to sink hours of our time into Cyberpunk 2077 on April 16th, 2020. But, perhaps the most significant moment was when Keanu Reeves was revealed to be a character in the game. The John Wick actor then took to the stage and expressed his enthusiasm to be part of the upcoming role-playing game.

2. Halo Infinite trailer

After 3 years of the polarizing Halo 5: Guardians, the next installment in Microsoft’s flagship series was announced to be coming to the next Xbox system(we’ll get to that). In the trailer, we see Master Chief rescued by an unknown space marine. After he tries pleading with the Chief to head home, the Spartan soldier responds by saying “we need to fight.” We then see Master Chief going off to do just that before we cut to the games logo. It then cuts back to the Chief confronting his old friend turned enemy, Cortana. While we still haven’t seen any bit of gameplay footage, it was still nice to see Chief back to what he does best. The next chapter in the Halo series is set to launch Holiday 2020.

3. Project Scarlet/Next Xbox

After 6 years with the Xbox One and almost 2 years after the X model, we’ll be saying goodbye to our Xbox Ones. While the old machine started off on the wrong foot, with games running at around 700-800p and potentially blocking used games, it turned into a pretty solid console, with the ability to play games and movies at a full 4K resolution. Now, Microsoft looks to the future of gaming with its next system, Project Scarlet. Promising frame rates up to 180fps, 8K resolution, and nearly non-existent loading times, the next Xbox has a lot to promise us. We can’t wait to get our hands on it in 2020.

4. Elden Ring Announcement

While Game of Thrones season 8 left a lot of people with a sour taste, George R.R. Martin’s next project may help people get over the finale. The world renown author is currently teaming up with Namco Bandi and From Software, the creators of Dark Souls, for a dark Fantasy video game. While we only saw a trailer, Elden Ring promises to be From Softwares biggest game yet. Get ready to Die a whole lot, when Elden Ring comes out next year.

5. Tales of Arise

While many thought Tales of Arise would be the game George R.R. Martin would be working on, that didn’t stop the latest game in the long-running franchise from exciting us. What seems to be a move towards a more western style of Role-Playing, the newest game from the Tales series will be the first game to come to the Xbox One, as well as the last game to appear on current gen consoles. By combining a more realistic art style with the same anime appeal that fans have come to love, the latest installment of the Tales is looking to broaden its appeal to the west more. Namco Bandai promises that this next game will come out in 2020.

6. Dragon Ball Z Kakarot

After last years fantastic Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Z is coming back with a brand new action-RPG in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Like other games before it, Kakarot will follow the events of the beloved TV series, as players will take control of Goku and fly around the world of Dragon Ball like never before. Along with a fantastic looking trailer, IGN was able to get its hands on with some Gameplay. We’ll be flying around, teaming up with and fight against some of Dragon Ball Z’s most iconic heroes and villains. The wish for the Ultimate Dragon Ball Z game looks to have been granted as Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be coming to consoles early 2020.

7. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

After a fantastic FMV trailer, we finally got to see some Gameplay from the latest Star Wars game, Jedi: Fallen Order. Combat seems very familiar to that of the Dark Souls series, though it won’t be as overly difficult as that franchise. You’ll be hacking, slashing, and force choking through dozens of Stormtroopers and we got to see Forest Whitaker coming back as his character from Rogue One, Saw Gerrera. We’ll get to see more as it gets closer to release, but what we’ve seen has enough here to make us water from the mouth. We’ll be one with the force, when Jedi: Fallen Order is released on November 15th, 2019.

8. Doom Eternal

While we already saw some of Doom Eternal earlier this year, the latest trailer essentially just gave us more of that. But, oh man was it tight. We got to see more weapons, bigger demons, and plenty of gory kills. Doom Eternal will take everything you loved about the 2016 game and dial it up to 11. Along with new campaign gameplay, we got to see some multiplayer action, and it looks phenomenal. Doom Eternal will come out on November 22nd, 2019, though we’ll get to see more at QuakeCon, later this year.

9. Ghostwire Tokyo

From the makers of the Evil Within, comes the latest game from the studio that was made by Shinji Mikami, creator of the Resident Evil series. While we only got to see an FMV trailer, what we did see set a haunting mood, with people disappearing and a little doggie missing his owner:'(. It then comes to crazy magic samurai looking guys, weird superpowers and an Archer? We have no idea what’s going on, but We can’t wait to learn more about this game.

10. Wolfenstein: Young Blood

After killing a bunch of Nazi’s in Wolfenstein 2, get to ready to kill even more Nazi’s in Wolfenstein: Young Blood. Taking Place in the ’80s, watch as Jess and Soph Blazkowicz goes on a mission to find their missing father, BJ Blazkowicz and kill every Nazi that gets in your way. The most significant change from the last game will be that you can slay Nazi’s in co-op with a friend. You won’t have to wait too long, as Wolfenstein: Young Blood is set for release next month.

1.. Borderlands 3

Borderlands is back and it’s more Borderlands than it ever was. As the first major game running on current gen consoles, the latest installment has you once again picking from one of four classes as you shoot, loot, and quip your way to victory. Along with a new trailer that shows off the new vault hunters, Microsoft announced that Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection will become available on the Xbox Game Pass, and new free DLC is now available for Borderlands 2. Borderlands 3, on the other hand, will cost about $59.99 and will be playable on September 13th, 2019.

Editors note: we will continue to add trailers to this post as they are announced/released, some come back often.
