The 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France officially kicks off on Friday, June 7. The opening game of the tournament will feature the host nation taking on South Korea at Report Parc des Princes in Paris. The referee for the first match — which takes place in Group A that also features Norway and Nigeria — will be officiated by Uruguay’s Claudia Umpierrez.
The tournament will conclude with the third-place game on Saturday, July 6 and championship on Sunday, July 7.
