Brie Larson Has Been on a Hot Streak for the Ages

Brie Larson, born on  October 1, 1989, in Sacramento, California, is an Academy Award-winning actress who is best known for her award-winning performance in Room (2015) and for portraying Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Raised in California, Larson was homeschooled before becoming the youngest student ever admitted to the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.

Larson’s first professional acting appearance came in the year 1998 when she appeared in a skit on an episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Her first major acting role came when she was cast as Bog Saget’s character’s daughter on the WB (now The CW) sitcom Raising Dad. In the following years, she went on to make various minor appearances in television and film projects such as Hope & Faith, Right on Track, Sleepover, Peter Pan, Remember the Daze, Hoot, and 13 Going on 30.

After a couple of years dabbling in the music industry, Larson began portraying Kate Gregson in the Showtime comedy series United States of Tara.

Following her appearance in United States of Tara, Larson really began to break into the industry, appearing in films such as Tanner Hall, Greenberg, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, 21 Jump Street, The Trouble with Bliss, Don Jon, Short Term 12, and The Spectacular Now.

Larson would soon become one of the most sought after actresses in Hollywood, appearing in both critically-acclaimed dramas and blockbuster epics such as Trainwreck, Room, Kong: Skull Island, The Glass Castle, Captain Marvel, and Avengers: Endgame.

Now one of the faces of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Larson has become one of the most famous actresses in the world.
