Ciara is going to Harvard. Late Tuesday, May 21, the celebrity took to social media to announce the big news that she has been admitted to the Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program in Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports.

The news comes on the heels of Ciara’s release of her latest album “Beauty Marks,” along with the launch of a production company named Why Not You Productions — a joint venture with husband and NFL star Russell Wilson.

“I always dreamt of going to college, but by God’s grace, my music career took me on a path that I’m so thankful for,” Ciara wrote in her Instagram post. “This week I got accepted into Harvard! Words cannot describe my excitement! Thank you @anitaelberse for a once in a lifetime opportunity to attend @Harvard BEMS. #WhyNotHER.”

According to the Harvard website, the program Ciara will be involved in costs $10,000.

“Nowhere has the impact of digital technology been felt more keenly than in the entertainment world, where it has dramatically changed how products are developed and managed—and how talent connects with audiences. In this entertainment management course, you will uncover new approaches for driving revenue and success in today’s entertainment environment,” the description reads.

“Through an up-close examination of why some creative businesses thrive while others fail to survive, you will learn when to make smaller versus blockbuster bets, the best way to capitalize on market disruptions, and how to establish long-term competitive advantage.”

Congratulations to Ciara on the major achievement.
