The 2019 Preakness Stakes takes place on Saturday, May 18 at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. It is the second race of the Triple Crown, known as the “Run for the Black-Eyed Susans.” The Preakness airs live on NBC.
Entering the race, the favorite is War of Will, which will be ridden by Tyler Gaffalione. Country House, which won the Kentucky Derby due to disqualification, was withdrawn from the field due to a virus.
