Jessica Andrade is your new UFC women’s strawweight champion following an epic finish in the main event of UFC 237 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Andrade was taking on former champion Rose Namajunas when she elevated the titleholder and slammed her directly on her head for a ridiculous knockout slam finish.
Namajunas had been in control of the fight prior to the stunning knockout finish.
Earlier in the bout, Andrade attempted a similar slam, but Namajunas was able to counter with a kimura trap. She appeared to be attempting a similar technique in Round 2, when Andrade was able to maintain control and drop Namajunas on her head for the finish.
If you missed out on the action Saturday night, we have you covered.
Here is the epic finish between Andrade and Namajunas.
