This Olivia Culpo SI Swimsuit Video Just Broke My Brain

People, we need to have a discussion, and that discussion is about… veteran Detroit Lions wide receiver Danny Amendola. Didn’t expect that, did you?

Look, Amendola is still in the NFL despite being a 33-year-old who came into the league as an undrafted free agent all the way back in 2008. He’s devilishly handsome and likely very, very rich. His life is fantastic and so is he.

But I’d also venture to say he’s an idiot. Why? Because he somehow managed to mess things up with Olivia Culpo.

I’ve said this a few time before, but Culpo is currently having a run of success in her career that’s only happened a few times before in modern pop culture history.

Britney Spears back in the year 2000, Jessica Simpson in 2005, Megan Fox in 2009, Kate Upton in 2013, Emily Ratajkowski in 2015, etc, etc — these are all examples of women whose brand and look was SO strong at this given moment in time that they could easily be regarded as the most desirable chick on the planet.

Olivia Culpo is currently having one of those moments and Danny Amendola almost willingly gave that away. You just hate to see it.

And in case you needed any further proof of the point I’m trying to make, Sports Illustrated just dropped a teaser video for this year’s iconic swimsuit issue that will melt your face off, for lack of a better term.

@si_swimsuit .. It’s finally here!!!!!! This was one of my hardest days for personal reasons (as some of you may remember). I landed in Australia to shoot these photos with some info that rocked my world. Looking back at this first picture, I know exactly what was going through my mind at the time. I was so incredibly thankful for the opportunity to be doing something I had dreamed of, and wished and hoped for since I was a little girl. And I sit here today feeling SO grateful. I feel like I worked really hard, and hope I can use my experience to inspire people to 1. Always follow your dreams 2. Know the power of the law of attraction and manifesting what you want in life 3. Try your hardest to always give thanks, even when it is difficult and you may not understand why certain things happen when they do. Even though I was struggling on this day, I know in this picture I was thanking God for the opportunities life has given me and for making every day a blessing. Culpo, a former Miss Universe beauty pageant winner, first began her tumultuous relationship with the then-New England Patriots receiver back in 2016. Despite breaking up once, the two repaired things and got back together in 2018, only for Amendola to then be pictured with some other chick while Culpo was on the other side of the world, resulting in their second and likely final break-up.
