American Idol returns on Sunday, May 5 for a “Woodstock/Showstoppers” themed night featuring American Idol alum and Grammy winner Lauren Daigle. The top 6 contestants will each perform two songs during the two-hour episode which will air live coast-to-coast.
Following Queen Night a week ago, the group of finalists was narrowed down to Alejandro Aranda, Laci Kaye Booth, Wade Cota, Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon, Laine Hardy, and Madison VanDenburg. At the end of this week’s show, there will once again be an elimination.
When the vote is revealed, judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie will have the opportunity to save the eliminated contestant. The judges can only use the save once through the season.
