Samantha Kumiko, born on May 3, is a model and ring girl. Kumiko has been present at a number of high-profile boxing matches throughout the years like Austin Trout vs. Miguel Cotto, Paulie Malignaggi vs. Adrien Broner, and the biggest fight in boxing history, Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor. She has previously worked as a Corona ring girl but now makes the rounds for Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing on DAZN.
She has also worked for Premier Boxing Champions. Kumiko has gone viral in the past thanks to a hilarious moment during weigh-ins ahead of a bout between WBC champion Deontay Wilder and Luis Ortiz. During the weigh-in, Wilder let out his “Bomb Squad” shout which startled Kumiko and caused her to jump in place.
Kumiko previously competed in the Tropic Beauty swimsuit competition in 2014.
Prior to bursting onto the scene as one of the pound-for-pound best ring girls, Kumiko obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
