Cheslie Kryst: Hottest Photos of Miss North Carolina USA 2019

Cheslie Kryst will be representing Miss North Carolina USA at the upcoming Miss USA pageant. Chelsie was preceded by Caelynn Miller-Keyes, last year’s first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant who was also a former Miss Virginia Teen USA and contestant on season 23 of The Bachelor.

Cheslie attended Wake Forest University where she obtained her law degree and MBA. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina.

She was also a member of the South Carolina track and field team, competing in the heptathlon, long jump, and triple jump.

For months, my alarm rang daily at 4:45am so I could get in a morning workout. In the weeks leading up to my departure for Miss USA, I’d also come home and get in a second workout—30 to 45 minutes on the bike or elliptical. I gave up pasta, fried food, and dessert (with the occasional sweet treat on the weekends). I hated every second of my workout and nutrition regimen. But I’m thrilled that I felt confident and proud to strut my hard work across the Miss USA stage this week. One more day ‘til finals!!

It’s the 28th and I just turned 28!! I’m thrilled to be able to spend my birthday competing for the title of Miss USA. My daily routine used to be e x h a u s t i n g. I would wake up at 5AM, get in a workout, be at work by 7AM, leave work around 6PM, then head to a networking event or dinner with my friends. Miss USA takes place Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. It will be the 68th Miss USA pageant, and the second pageant to be held concurrently with the Miss Teen USA competition. The pageant will air live on FOX. The Miss Universe pageant will take place on a yet-to-be-determined date in South Korea. The reigning Miss Universe is Catriona Gray, who represented the Philippines, while Miss USA going to Nebraska’s Sarah Rose Summers.
