Kailyn Marie Perez will be representing Miss Pennsylvania USA at the upcoming Miss USA pageant. Kailyn was preceded by 2018 winner Olivia Suchko. Before winning Miss Pennsylvania USA, Perez was Miss Florida World 2015 and placed in the Top 12 at Miss World America 2015.
The 27-year-old Camp Hill native is a first-generation American and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law.
Perez has also worked on the Home Shopping Network and was a dancer until suffering a career-ending injury during her freshman year of college. She had previously danced professionally for the Orlando Ballet Company.

Miss USA takes place Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. It will be the 68th Miss USA pageant, and the second pageant to be held concurrently with the Miss Teen USA competition. The pageant will air live on FOX. The Miss Universe pageant will take place on a yet-to-be-determined date in South Korea. The reigning Miss Universe is Catriona Gray, who represented the Philippines, while Miss USA going to Nebraska’s Sarah Rose Summers.
