The 2019 Billboard Music Awards take place Wednesday, May 1 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ceremony, hosted by Kelly Clarkson, will air live on NBC beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET. Leading the way is none other than Cardi B, who has a whopping 21 nominations in 18 categories. The 21 nominations is one shy of the record 22 nominations in 2017 by Drake and The Chainsmokers.
Drake and Post Malone are the next most nominated artists with 17 nods, while Travis Scott earned 12 nominations. Another artist up for double-digit awards is late-rapper XXXTentacion, who is up for 10 awards.
