Jenelle Evans’ French bulldog Nugget was shot and killed, and it is believed that her husband David Eason was the man who pulled the trigger. A “frantic call” was placed following the killing of her dog, according to Radar Online. However, Jenelle did not make the call, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

“A call was made today, and it was relayed that the woman’s husband had killed her dog,” the Sheriff’s Department told Radar. “The Sheriff is out there right now investigating and there will be an incident report filed later.”

According to US Weekly, David shot the dog after it snapped at the couple’s two-year-old daughter.

“David shot the dog,” the report stated. “The dog snapped at [their 2-year-old daughter] Ensley and that prompted David’s decision to shoot it.”

Following the news, there were reports that Jenelle left her home because she did not feel safe.

Since then, Evans, a star of MTV’s Teen Mom 2, has responded to the allegations on Twitter.

“I didn’t ‘run away from home,’” she wrote. “Haven’t been home all day and been busy taking care of my kids and myself. Had no idea any visitors came by my house… still don’t know what happened at my house. Please stop making up rumors. I haven’t spoken to any media and still not. Bye.”

While Jenelle has not specifically commented on the death of her dog, she did confirm her dog had been killed in a social media post.

“Nugget… I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me,” she wrote. “You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back. #Heartbroken #Distraught”

It is not the first time Eason has been implicated in violence. It was just last year that Evans called 911 and accused her husband of attacking her. The 911 call was released by TMZ and Newsweek reported that she was nearly hospitalized.

A few days after being accused of killing the dog, he was seen on Instagram Live dragging a pig by its hind legs. That led to further allegations of animal cruelity.

Police are reportedly investigating the incident.
