All of the Best Reactions to Arya Killing The Night King

After years of hype and anticipation, the grizzliest and the most sprawling episode of Game of Thrones finally aired as the Night King and the Army of the Dead descended upon Winterfell in “The Long Night.”

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS FOR SEASON 8, EPISODE 3 OF ‘GAME OF THRONES’ WILL FOLLOW AFTER THE GIFs.

In an episode that was hyped as the grandest and most complex in the history of the medium, “The Long Night” lived up to its billing and then some.

Whether it be the massive battle set pieces, the many major character deaths, or the final epic slaying of the Night King at the hands of Arya Stark, “The Long Night” was easily the most intense episode in the Emmy Award-winning series’ esteemed history.

While a majority of the episode saw our heroes getting essentially trampled by the Army of the Dead, Arya Stark proved the age-old adage “when the going gets tough, the tough get going” and put on an absolute MVP performance, essentially saving the entire world with one swift stroke of her Valyrian Steel dagger.

And because Game of Thrones is a cultural phenomenon unlike anything we’ve seen before (and likely won’t see again for some time) the internet collectively lost their damn mind, all at the same time.

Whether it be reactions from regular fans on the other side of the world or some of America’s most famous athletes and celebrities, it seemed like almost everyone on Earth had something to say about THAT epic Arya Stark moment.
