Avengers: Endgame has officially made its way into theaters across the world, shattering every conceivable box-office records in the process.
Whether it be the decade-plus of universe building, prior interest in the comic books, or just not wanting to feel left out, essentially everyone and their mother went to see Avengers: Endgame during its opening weekend, putting the movie over $1.2 billion in just a few days.
While the credit goes to Marvel Studios from cracking the code of blockbuster filmmaking, a massive part of their success is also due to their uncanny ability to cast the right stars in the right roles.
In 2008, had you told people that Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Pratt would be two of the biggest movie stars in the world because of Marvel, you’d say A) the cocaine guy? and B? who is Chris Pratt?
And now, because of their commitment to their plan, Disney is able to use all of those various stars in the same movie, resulting in star-studded behind-the-scenes videos like this.
In an Instagram video posted in the early hours of Monday, April 29, Chris Pratt shared a star-studded, highly-illegal video that showed most of the major Avengers: Endgame stars together on set.
“I remember being blown away in this moment on the Avengers set. Nobody was allowed to film anything on their phones. I said screw it. No rule was going to stop me from seizing this once in a lifetime opportunity to capture this collection of stars, a group that likely will never be in the same room again. We are so blessed,” Pratt wrote.
As for what scene was being filmed here, it’s safe to assume that this is during the climactic final battle with Thanos, which means it’s probably a good idea that Pratt waited until after the movie came out to drop this video on the world.
‘Avengers: Endgame’, the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, officially hit theaters in the United States on Friday, April 26.
