Gaby Espino, born in Caracas, Venezuela, on November 15, 1977, is a Venezuelan actress, model, and host who is best known for her roles in various telenovelas, which are essentially Spanish-language soap operas.
Born in Caracas as the oldest of five siblings, while Espino originally wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine or dentistry, she eventually decided that she wanted to become an actress.
Espino’s first professional acting appearance came when she hosted the Peruvian children’s TV series Nubeluz in the year 1995.
Since making her debut in the year 1995, Espino has gone on to appear in over 18 different television programs. Additionally, Espino has also appeared in six films.
In the year 2007, Espino got married to Venezuelan actor Cristobal Lander, with whom she shares a daughter named Oriana Lander. Espino and Lander have since gotten divorced, as Espino went on to get married to have a baby with another Venezuelan actor, Jencarlos Canela.
Espino’s and Canela’s son, Nickolas Canela Espino, was born on February 12, 2012. Espino and Canela would then end their relationship less than three years later in August 2014.
In 2019, Espino hosted the 2019 Billboard Latin Music Awards at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Thursday, April 25.
