Abigail “Abby” Hornacek, born on April 25, 1994, is the daughter of NBA coach Jeff Hornacek and a current host of the Fox News show Fox Nation.
Abby’s father Jeff, who has coached the Phoenix Suns and the New York Knicks during the course of his coaching career, originally played in the NBA from 1986 to 2000 with three different teams: the Phoenix Suns, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Utah Jazz.
At the beginning of 2019, Hornacek was hired by Fox News to be a travel and lifestyle host on its new subscription-based streaming service Fox Nation.
When she landed the job at Fox Nation, Hornacek called the opportunity “a dream.”
“I’m excited to officially announce I’ll be a lifestyle, sports and travel host on Fox Nation! It’s a dream to get the opportunity to travel to our nation’s breathtaking National Parks to show you what makes our country beautiful while jumping out of planes, bungee jumping, bouldering and doing all the adrenaline activities we can find!” Horncek’s Instagram announcement read.
Hornacek, who graduated from the Xavier College Preparatory in Arizona before attending the University of Southern California, made her hosting debut on Fox News on Super Bowl Sunday when she hosted the Fox News special “Fox Nation: In Depth”.
Before she got snatched up by Fox News to host Fox Nation, Hornacek had done reporting work with both ESPN and Fox Sports.
