It’s Sunday, April 21, which means its time for a special set at Coachella 2019. Kanye West is bringing his Sunday Service series to Coachella for Easter Sunday and it will be streamed live online for the fans who cannot make it out to the desert. Kanye was initially scheduled as a headliner for this year’s music festival, but some creative differences led to a change.

However, in late March Kanye announced how his special Easter Sunday Service came to be.

“We were out in Palm Springs and they took us to a little campground because we were thinking about a little performance in Palm Springs, just a little one,” Kanye said in a video making the announcement.

“Then they had a mountain, he had a mountain waiting for us. He had a date waiting for us. Only one date that mountain would be available to us: Easter Sunday at Coachella. That confirmation was confirmed last night.”

The performance comes one day after appearing on the Coachella stage with Kid Cudi.

Kanye has been holding his special Sunday Services — which have included tributes to late-rapper Nipsey Hussle and the teasing of new music — in Calabasas throughout the year. But he decided to up the ante and close his run out with a big platform at Coachella.

You can watch Kanye West’s Easter Sunday Service live below.

As you might expect, Kanye and company had a special merchandise tent set up for the Easter Sunday Service at Coachella under a tent that simply read “Church Clothes.”

The merch tent included $50 socks reading “Jesus Walks,” a $165 “Holy Spirit” sweatshirt, and a $70 “Trust God” t-shirt. All of the tops had “Sunday Service at the Mountain” written across the back.

Coachella took place over two weekends, April 12-14 and April 19-21. Headliners for this year’s festival were Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, and Tame Impala.
