Natalie Alyn Lind is an actress known for her roles as Dana Caldwell in The Goldbergs, Silver St. Cloud in Gotham, and Lauren Strucker in The Gifted. Natalie comes from a family familiar with Hollywood, with her father being producer John Lind and her mother, Barbara Alyn Woods, a former actress. Lind’s younger sisters, Alyvia and Emily, are also actresses.
Prior to her starring role as Lauren Strucker, Lind appeared on One Tree Hill, Criminal Minds, iCarly, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Flashpoint.
Discussing her role on The Gifted — a series based off of the Marvel X-Men comics — Natalie discussed the joy that came with accepting a role related to the Marvel world.
“I was really both [a DC and Marvel fan],” she said in an interview with Assignment X. “When I was on GOTHAM [as Silver St. Cloud], it was such a surprise, but I always loved all the Batman storylines, and I was also such an Iron Man fan from Marvel. So being able to have both roles is kind of unbelievable. It feels like I’m a part of both families, and it’s pretty incredible.”
