Sol Pais has been identified as the 18-year-old suspect wanted for threatening to commit an act of violence in the Denver area, prompting over 20 schools in Jefferson County to be placed on lockdown.
At this time, an Instagram or Facebook account managed by Pais has not been found. The images of Pais that have been circulating the internet were provided by the Denver Division of the FBI and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Pais is currently on the run from the police, who say she should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. Additionally, police said that Pais is reportedly “infatuated” with the Columbine High School shooting.
Police say after she flew into Colorado from Florida on Monday, April 15, she purchased a shotgun.
Of the many Colorado schools that were placed down due to Pais’ threats, one of them was Columbine High School, which is approaching the 20th anniversary of the deadly 1999 mass shooting.
On April 20, 1999, two 12th grade students at the school — Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris — shot and killed 12 students and one teacher before killing themselves.
As a result of Pais’ threats, the following 21 Denver-area schools were placed on lockdown as a precaution:

Pais’ threat of violence against Jefferson County schools comes just four days before the 20th anniversary of the infamous Columbine shooting that left 13 people dead.
