BTS made their highly anticipated debut on Saturday Night Live on April 13, becoming the first Korean musical guest in the history of the late-night NBC show. The band performed their recently released single “Boy With Luv,” a collaboration with Halsey that was a part of their new album Map of the Soul: Persona.
Halsey was not in attendance for the New York City performance, so Melanie Fontana, the co-writer of the song, filled in.
If you want to see Halsey perform with BTS, however, you can catch their first performance together at the Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday, May 1. The awards show airs live on NBC.
Along with “Boy With Luv,” the K-pop band performed their 2017 hit song “Mic Drop,” which was the group’s first song to go platinum in the United States, according to the Recording Industry Association of America.

The band also recently released the official music video teaser for their collaboration with Halsey which dropped on Friday, April 12, the same date that Map of the Soul: Persona was released. Following the release of the album, BTS will embark on a Love Yourself: Speak Yourself world tour.
