UFC 236 takes place Saturday, April 13 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The event features two title fights — Max Halloway vs. Dustin Poirier for the interim lightweight championship and Kelvin Gastelum vs. Israel Adesanya for the interim middleweight title.
Holloway, the reigning 145-pound king, is looking to become the latest two-division UFC champion by avenging an earlier loss to Poirier which came in his UFC debut. It was the first loss of the Hawaiin’s professional mixed martial arts career.
In the co-main event, Gastelum will be looking to claim gold after a title opportunity was taken away from him in the hours before UFC 234 when 185-champ Robert Whittaker withdrew with a hernia.
Ahead of UFC 236, the top competitors on the card took questions from the media about their mindsets and final preparations for the pay-per-view. Following the media sessions, the fighters came face-to-face for one of the final faceoffs before fight night.
Check out the media day faceoffs below.
