On Wednesday, April 10, Chance the Rapper excited fans by announcing that he was in full “album mode” as he finally prepares to finish his debut studio album. Less than 24 hours later, Chance teamed up with Lil Yachty to give us some new music while we wait for the project to release.
Chance the Rapper and Lil Yachty came together to give us the “Atlanta House Freestyle” which dropped on SoundCloud.
As is always the case, Chance and Yachty are bringing the heat.
As for when we can expect Lil Chano’s studio album to drop, it looks like July will be the date as indicated by a previous tweet.

(@chancetherapper) Chance had said that his album is coming thanks to his wife’s blessing to finish the project.
“My wife gave me the go ahead to put everything else on hold and really go to work on my debut album. Its been a lil hard at times, I obviously miss Chicago and family and working on other stuff, but there truly is no joy like making a project,” Chance wrote on Instagram.
“Somehow I always forget that i’m so, so good at this. And every night i surprise myself again. July is gonna be bittersweet because as much as i can’t wait to be done, the process is the best part! Yall should thank Kirsten cause she dont gotta share me wit NOBODY. But she knows what i do and is handling this pregnancy and our family with so much grace. Babe I have to appreciate u supporting me all these years and I swear i can’t wait to get juked on to these new songs.”
We can’t wait.
