K-Pop sensations BTS are set to drop their sixth extended play album Map of the Soul: Persona on Friday, April 12, 2019. The album will feature 7 songs running 26 minutes and 5 seconds. It is a follow-up to the 2018 albums Love Yourself: Tear and Love Yourself: Answer. It is set to kickoff a new series of albums for the South Korean boy band as the “beginning of a new chapter.”
In the final push to their album release, they have been promoting a collaboration with Halsey titled “Boy With Luv.”
A teaser video was initially released for the single which sent fans into a frenzy. Now, less than 48 hours until Map of the Soul: Persona is released, BTS and Halsey are back at it with a second teaser for the song which was shared by the group’s management company Big Hit Entertainment.
BTS is comprised of seven members — Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, Jungkook — and has picked up a plethora of awards, including becoming the first Korean group to ever win a Billboard Music Award and American Music Award. BTS have 1 Platinum single, 3 Gold singles, and 1 Gold album in the United States. In Korea, BTS have one Multi-Million album and one Million album.
The full music video for “Boy With Luv” will drop on Friday, April 12. The video drops on the same date that BTS releases their sixth extended play album Map of the Soul: Persona. Following the release of the album, BTS will embark on a Love Yourself: Speak Yourself world tour.
