The ‘Game Of Thrones’ Creators Made A 50-Track Playlist That Will Melt Your Face Off

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the creators of this little Mom & Pop show called Game Of Thrones, recently collaborated with Spotify to create a 50-track face-melting playlist to help get fans hyped for the final six episodes (as if we weren’t already at maximum hype???) of the legendary HBO fantasy drama.

The playlist, fittingly titled “Game of Thrones: The End is Coming”, is a 50-track masterpiece consisting of both rock and roll, heavy metal, folk, and even Kanye West.

As for how they compiled the playlist, Benioff and Weiss told Spotify that they were “looking for songs that made us feel the way the show made us feel.”

Now, I know what you’re wondering: can any clues be sourced from these 50 songs? And the answer is … kinda?

While Benioff and Weiss are smart enough not to accidentally reveal any key plot details through a Spotify playlist, given that some tracks are titled “Let’s Have A War”, “Go To War”, “Waves of Mutilation”, “Let Me Live / Let Me Die”, and “Sleep Now In The Fire”, the playlist is clearly set up to paint a picture of what this final season is going to feel like.

Also, curiously enough, the 50th and final track on the playlist is U2’s “Love Is Blindness”, which is certainly an eye-popping choice, as *none* of the other 49 tracks even have the casual mention of love.

My guess? This is an obvious reference to Jon and Dany, although not necessarily a positive one, as I personally have a hard time believing that both of them make it through this final season alive. But that’s just me.

The eighth and final season of the Emmy-award winning ‘Game of Thrones’, which will consist of just six episodes, will begin airing on HBO on Sunday, April 14, at 9 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. PST.
