With less than three weeks until the release of Avengers: Endgame — arguably the most-anticipated movie in over a decade — the promotional hype train is officially full steam ahead.
With new trailers and new interviews seemingly dropping every day, Marvel Studios is clearly determined to get every last man, woman, and child on planet Earth to their nearest theater to see this damn movie.
And the latest of these promotional power moves was sending four of the movie’s biggest stars — Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, and Paul Rudd — on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk *everything* Avengers: Endgame.
Chopping it up for close to 20 minutes, Kimmel chatted with the cast about the premiere of Avengers: Endgame, getting matching tattoos, their favorite lines from the films, visiting Disneyland, getting each other gifts for their birthdays, a stand-alone Black Widow movie, and, of course, Ant-Man fan theories.
However, while all that Avengers: Endgame stuff is all fine and dandy, I found myself fixated on the fact that A) Scarlett Johansson seems to be aging in reverse and B) that Robert Downey Jr. has essentially morphed into Tony Stark.
Avengers: Endgame will star Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Brie Larson, Bradley Cooper, Josh Brolin, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Karen Gillan, Don Cheadle, Gweneth Paltrow and more.
At the time of its release, it will be the 22nd film in the 11-year old Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who previously directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Infinity War. The movie was preceded by Captain Marvel and will be followed up by Spider-Man: Far From Home in July.
Avengers: Endgame will officially hit theaters in the United States on Friday, April 26, although screenings will begin on the evening on Thursday, April 25.
