It’s Masters Week at Augusta National Golf Club, providing our yearly reminder that food at the exclusive club is ridiculously cheap. While you may have to donate a kidney to afford concessions at a typical sporting event, you can eat yourself into a coma and feast like a king for less than $20 at Augusta.
Keeping with the tradition of cheap and affordable concessions, there isn’t a single food item over $3.00 — a grilled chicken wrap and a classic grilled sandwich. The only items on the menu that are $4.00 or more are a domestic beer, import beer, or American craft beer, none of which will cost more than $5.
And, of course, there is that iconic Pimento Cheese sandwich for just $1.50, one of the biggest steals you’ll ever see.
That is how it should be at sporting events across the globe.
