Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch made history at Wrestlemania 35 on Sunday, April 13 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The three women headlined Wrestlemania 35 with a winner-take-all three-way match for the WWE Raw and SmackDown championships.
It marked the first time in WWE history that a Wrestlemania pay-per-view was headlined by a women’s match.
With the three women involved clearly being the best at their craft in the company, it was a main event that promised to deliver and cap off an eventful night on a high note.
Rousey, the Raw Women’s Champion, was first to make her way to the ring accompanied by a live performance of “Bad Reputation” by Joan Jett.
Charlotte was soon to follow after flying into the stadium in a helicopter.
The third and final woman to the rin was none other than “The Man” Becky Lynch, who was aiming to upend both champions to claim the two title belts as her own.
When it was all said and done, it was Becky Lynch who was able to weather the storm to ultimately come away with the Raw and SmackDown women’s’ titles.
If you missed out on the match, we have you covered.
