Anthony Bailey Jr., 47-years-old, has been identified as the alleged hostage taker & gunman who killed two people, including a 16-year-old boy, during a barricade situation in Stockbridge, Georgia, on Thursday, April 4.
The deceased has been identified as 39-year-old Sandra Renee White, who was pregnant, and her 16-year-old son Arkeyvion White. Sandra White was set to give birth to her newborn on Tuesday, April 23.
Following the standoff — which began around 11 a.m. local time in a home on the 300 block of Eagle Court in Stockbridge — Bailey Jr. took his own life. Police say that early indications are that all three of the deceased died from gunshot wounds.
The Henry County Police Department said that Bailer Jr. fired “hundreds of rounds” during the lengthy standoff.
In addition to the deceased, Bailey Jr. also shot two Henry County Police Department, however, they both survived as the injuries they sustained were described as “non-life threatening.”
While police have not officially released the names of the deceased, Anetria White confirmed to CBS46 that the victims were her sister and her nephew: Sandra Renee and Arkeyvion White.
The Henry County Police Department uploaded body camera footage to Facebook that shows officers exchanging gunfire with Bailey Jr.
