Diarra Kilpatrick is an American actress, writer, and producer who is best known for her work on American Koko, The Last OG, and the CBS reboot of the classic sci-fi series The Twilight Zone.

After graduating from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Kilpatrick began her professional entertainment career, appearing in various short films and TV shows such as House, The Young and the Restless, Mike and Molly, Major Crimes, and Southland.

Kilpatrick’s big breakthrough came as the creator and star of the ABC digital series American Koko.

American Koko, a comedy, follows Kilpatrick as Agent Akosua Millard, codenamed “Koko,” as she “investigates and solves sticky racial situations in a ‘post post-racial’ America as a member of the E.A.R. Agency (Everybody’s A little bit Racist).”

For her performance in the show, Kilpatrick earned an Emmy nominated in 2018 for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy or Drama Series, Short Form.

In addition to starring as on American Koko, Kilpatrick is also widely known for her work as a writer and actress on the TBS Tracy Morgan-starring comedy series The Last OG.

Kilpatrick’s career took another step forward when she starred in the first episode of the CBS reboot of The Twilight Zone, titled “The Comedian.” Starring alongside Kumail Nanjiani, Kilpatrick stole every scene she was in during her performance in “The Comedian”.
