Marvel Studios released another action-packed trailer for Avengers: Endgame to commemorate tickets going on sale for the first time.
Because we love these movies as much as you do, we combed through the trailer frame by frame to try and break down what’s happening.
First, check out the latest balls-to-the-wall look at Avengers: Endgame then keep scrolling down for our FULL trailer scene-by-scene breakdown.
The trailer opens with a bunch of our heroes looking forlorn as they weigh the task ahead of them.
They’re outmanned, outgunned, and have already lost to this dude once. I wouldn’t be too thrilled either about a Round 2.
Tony Stark and Nebula make their way back to Earth, reuniting with Rocket Racoon and Pepper Potts, respectively.
Iron Man flying around New York City has led to some speculation about whether or not this is present day or a glimpse of the Avengers traveling back in time to the Battle of New York.
Hawkeye, now with a full sleeve, has taken over the “Ronin” mantle.
SKKKWAAAAADDDDDDD
The boys are BACK! If the Avengers are going to stand any chance against Thanos, they are going to need this power couple to bring their A-game.
The Avengers flying in what looks like the Guardians of the Galaxy spaceship, clearly taking the fight to the Mad Titan Thanos.
The death of Peter Parker clearly weighs heavy on Tony Stark.
Nebula and War Machine reacting as they approach Thanos’ ship, clearly distressed.
Captain America getting his ass-whooped in what appears to be the climactic battle with Thanos.
Many long-time fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have Captain Steve Rodgers pegged for death in this final chapter.
Thanos arrives in his battle armor.
Tony Stark squaring up with Thanos for one last time.
The money shot of the trailer. The Avengers Big 3 — Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor — head off into battle against Thanos.
As for where this final battle is taking place, a couple of options are on the table and none of them are Earth based on what we’ve seen from the trailer.
I’ve argued in the past that this setting looks similar to the Titan battleground where the Avengers first took on Thanos in Infinity War, although I can’t be sure.
What did you think of the latest trailer for ‘Avengers: Endgame’? Will the movie be able to live up to the hype? Is the reported 3-hour runtime too long or just right? Let us know in the comment section below.
