All Of The Best Ant-Man & Thanos Memes

Ever since Avengers: Infinity War hit American theaters on April 27, 2018, fans across the globe have been speculating, theorizing, and frankly obsessing about how the second chapter in the saga, Avengers: Endgame , will conclude this epic story.

But of all of the Avengers: Endgame theories — some very legitimate, others not so much — only one of those theories has blossomed into a full-blown, can’t-miss-it meme.

Avengers: Infinity War notably brought together heroes from all corners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one of Earth’s mightiest was missing: Ant-Man.

And while Ant-Man’s absence was briefly glossed over by Black Widow in Infinity War, one fan had a different, more grotesque theory:

marvel saw the post about how ant man could defeat thanos by crawling into his ass and instantly growing in size and that’s why they didn’t put him in the movie, send tweet

— c a t (@filmgloss) April 30, 2018

Tweeted just three days after the United States premiere of Avengers: Infinity War in 2018, that explicit yet shockingly reasonable theory has only grown in stature since, eventually butterflying into a full-blown meme.

ur tellin me in the 14 million futures Dr. Strange saw not one of them was Ant-Man crawling up Thanos' ass

Stan Lee after seeing people talk about how Ant Man is gonna kill Thanos by crawling up his butthole and expanding. pic.twitter.com/hIAXuxGVWd

I’ve seen literally dozens of memes about Ant Man crawling into Thanos’ butthole and not ONE meme has used the term:

“Thanus”

I want my money back, internet.

The biggest flaw people don't realize when they say Ant Man is gonna shrink himself and grow big after going into Thanos' butthole is that Thanos is able to shit himself on command

if I was thanos and I felt antman trying to fly up into my butthole I would simply poop my pants

In fact, this particularly bonkers fan theory/running joke/meme has gained so much steam over the past year that even Ant-man himself Paul Rudd addressed it during an interview.

Avengers: Endgame will star Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, and more. At the time of its release, it will be the 22nd film in the 11-year old Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who previously directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Infinity War. The movie was preceded by Captain Marvel and will be followed up by Spider-Man: Far From Home in July.

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters in the United States on Friday, April 26.
