After a long and cold winter, the first true sign of the brighter and warmer days of Spring is finally here as MLB kicks off their Opening Day.
Well, technically MLB’s Opening Day was over a week ago, as the Oakland Athletics and the Seattle Mariners officially kicked off the 2019 season with a two-game series in Japan on Wednesday, March 20 and Thursday, March 12. The latter of the two games marked the final professional baseball game for Japanese hit machine Ichiro.
However, the traditional Opening Day festivities begin today, as there are 15 games scheduled from 1:05 p.m. until after 10 p.m., giving fans have wall-to-wall action to tune into to get their first baseball fix since last season’s World Series.
