Paige VanZant continues to add to her resume. The UFC star, who has some of the best crossover appeal in mixed martial arts, has announced that she will be joining M-1 Global USA as the lead color commentator. VanZant, who celebrated her 25th birthday on Tuesday, March 26, will join former Bellator play-by-play voice Sean Wheelock calling the action on UFC Fight Pass.

VanZant has also recently announced that she will be featured in the upcoming Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

“I’m really excited for this opportunity to work as the color commentator for M-1 Global USA on UFC Fight Pass,” VanZant said in a press release. “I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to showcase my skills on the other side of the microphone.”

“Road to M-1: USA 2” will mark VanZant’s debut as a color commentator. The event takes place on Thursday, April 4 at Pipa Event Center at Quechan Casino Resort in Winterhaven, California.

Previously, VanZant has been a runner-up on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars and won the Food Network’s Chopped celebrity edition. She also published her first book, titled “Rise: Surviving the Fight of My Life.”

VanZant last stepped into the UFC’s Octagon at UFC on ESPN+1 in January against Rachael Ostovich. The event took place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, with VanZant scoring a submission victory. It was her first return to action after a lengthy lay-off due to a fractured arm. Unfortunately, VanZant suffered a second fracture of that same arm that has her recovering.

There is no word on when she will return to the cage.
